A 14-year-old child was collared Friday for sparking a lethal glow in Brooklyn Wednesday, the Daily News has learned.The teenager was arrested after being grilled by cops about the 10:30 p.m. Decatur St. glow that claimed the hold up of Eddie Ortiz, 35, FDNY sources said.The boy, who lives on the main building of the Ocean Hill brownstone, had creatively told investigators that he saw an antagonist only prior to the lethal inferno.Before being taken in to custody, the teenager told The News he listened a squeaking sound in the behind room and saw a man run downstairs and disband in to the night."I was going to follow after him, but afterwards I smelled smoke," he said.The teenager was charged with second-degree manslaughter, forward endangerment and arson.Two of the victims kin - Francisco Ortiz, 81, and Lydia Cartejania, 51 - were additionally harmed in the fire. Both are in critical, but fast condition at Interfaith Medical Center, officials said.
